Lakeside Preserve at Ice Lake is not just a fantastic fishing lake but a wildlife refuge for hundreds of species of birds and waterfowl that migrate through the region throughout the year.  
  It is also the home of numerous deer, elk, bear, coyote, fox, badger, eagles, osprey, ferrets, to name just a few.

Wildlife management guidelines have been developed and are reviewed periodically by the wildlife committee to make sure the Lake and surrounding areas continue to thrive.
